Then make sure you meet these requirements

•   The registrant must provide a valid residence permit or national or a letter of support from the lowest level of residence or proof of refugee status or a letter of support from the employer stating that he/she is a member of the organization and an employer ID or military ID or passport and visa.
•   Birth registrants and registrants who do not have a permanent residence card at the administrative office where the camp/project is located can register a birth by confirming that the camp/project/factory is located in the lower administrative office where the registration office is located and by providing evidence that the registrants/registrants are employees of the camp/project/factory.
•  If the birth occurred in a health facility, the registrant must provide a birth notification certificate issued by the health facility.
•   The guardian or caretaker of the child must present a legal document issued by the court when registering the birth
•   The police or appropriate government agency that comes to register an abandoned child must present a legal identification or document proving their identity
•   The supporting documents for the birth registration that have entered Ethiopia from abroad must be verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and registered and verified by the Documents Registration and Verification Agency
•   If the birth registrant is a foreign citizen, a document issued by a health institution must be presented
•   Regarding service fees

o  For current registration  For Ethiopians 60/sixty/, For foreign citizens 600/six hundred birr/
o  For late registration  For Ethiopians 150/one hundred fifty birr/, For foreign citizens 750/seven hundred fifty birr/
o  For expired registration  For Ethiopians 600/six hundred birr/ 200/ Two million Birr/, for foreign citizens Birr 900 / Nine hundred Birr/
