The agency announced that it is going to install a CCTV system in its 119 district offices.

The Civil Registration and Residency Service Agency reviewed the infrastructure project being implemented at the center, sub-city and district offices with the Innovation and Technology Development Bureau last week, and the project is said to be 90% complete. It has been seen that three district offices, including the wind phone Lafto and the Addis City sub-city offices, have been left behind due to construction, and it has been pointed out in the report that eye, face and fingerprint modern biometrics and other related additional resources have been imported into the country and are ready for distribution. .

In connection with this, it is known that CCTV system has been installed and completed in every district to improve the quality of service provided in the district within one month.

It is said that this system will be the first completed control system of an institution in the city, and the sub-cities can easily monitor their services in an organized manner, and it will be monitored by the NOC at the center, said Jonas Alemayehu, the director general of the agency.

It is known that the agency has established a uniform surveillance system by installing more than 78 state-of-the-art cameras in the headquarters, branches and districts.
