Eligibility Criteria:

1. Confirmation from the residential registration form that they are not married and take an affidavit
2. Two passport size photographs taken within six months must be submitted;
3. Resident ID or passport containing updated complete details of the applicant
4. If the request is made by an agent, special representation shall be made by presentation of the agent’s residential identity card or passport or a copy of the travel document or immigrant identity card and the agent’s renewed identity card.
5. The only certificate issued by the district office will be valid for 6 months only.
6. In the event of divorce or the death or disappearance of their spouse, when they seek a certificate of single status, they will be issued a single status certificate.
7. After marriage, if they ask for proof of marriage before marriage, they will receive daily, monthly and annual service until the date of marriage.

At the time of registration of residence, registration of married as unmarried and unmarried as married on the resident registration form shall be done by witnessing by three witnesses familiar with the matter and also verifying the correct one under oath.
