Councilors visited the agency

Members of the Infrastructure and Municipal Standing Committee of the Addis Ababa Council visited the work activities of the Civil Registration and Residency Service Agency.

In addition to the center, the members of the standing committee visited the civil registration and residency services in different districts of the city.

The members of the council said that the reform works and the progress being made to make the service delivery fast and accessible with the help of technology are encouraging.

To the members of the standing committee, the activities carried out in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2017 were explained by Mr. Tagabu Shumei, the representative of the Director of Information and Evidence Directorate.

The director general of the agency, Mr. Jonas Alemayehu, said that in the current fiscal year, the reform plan is to be concluded and the works that have been started will be completed and institutional foundations will be laid.

The members of the standing committee toured and visited the work being done at the center with the support of technology.
